The 2007 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)/National Ground Water Association (NGWA) “Fractured Rock Conference: State of the Science and Measuring Success in Remediation” will take place Sept. 24-26 in Portland, Maine. This third-in-a-series conference of international engineers, scientists, regulators, responsible parties, researchers and students focuses on innovative remediation technologies. The keynote address will be delivered by Norm Niedergang, director of the EPA’s Technology Innovation and Field Services Division.
