Danfoss-Flomatic has added 2 1/2, 3- and 4-inch sizes to its industrial valves, Model 816. These check valves are widely specified and used by beverage, food, water, heating and the chemical processing industries (CPI). The Model 816 valves are patented Teflon seated check valves with a size range from 1/4 inch through 4 inches in both threaded, socket weld or flanged connections. Depending on body material, connection and sizes, the valves rated maximum pressure is 600 psi (y-strainer: 1,440 psi) and maximum temperature 450 degrees F (y-strainer: 850 degrees F).
