Geoprobe's prepack screens are now available in four different inside diameters to meet the increasing demands of the small-diameter monitoring well market. The prepack screen monitoring wells have an inner factory-slotted PVC screen with a 0.010-inch riser. An outer screen constructed of stainless steel wire cloth retains the filter media in place as the screen assembly is installed. All three components of the prepack screen (inner PVC, silica sand and outer screen) are acceptable construction materials for environmental quality monitoring wells.
