Weatherford TruFrac Composite Frack Plug

The TruFrac composite frack plug is designed to maximize completion operations by reducing time on location. The short, smooth plug allows for faster run-in times and reduced mill-out times because its limited metal content and reduced cutting size makes for a cleaner well. Weatherford touts the plug’s improved anchoring and sealing ability, which is intended to increase reliability and mitigate risk in plug-and-perf operations. The TruFrac plug can be used in temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and pressures of up to 10,000 psi.
