Rig for Medium to Small Sites

The 400 series from Strike Manufacturing is designed for medium to small sites and minimum disturbance. Typically, this rig is mounted on tracks or comes truck-mounted, but it can be skid-mounted for remote areas. This rig, depending on the power package, will drill in excess of 3,000-foot boreholes. In trials, it has drilled 1,500-foot air rotary and 1,600-foot core holes. Mounted on a tracked under-carriage, the rig is suitable for exploration drilling. When mounted on a two- or four-wheel drive truck, it’s ready for geothermal drilling, but also can double as an exploration drill if the access is reasonable.
