Grundfos, Doctors Without Borders Announce Partnership
Agreement Will Ensure Sanitary Water Access in Crisis Areas
Grundfos will provide sanitary water and related infrastructure during global humanitarian efforts by Doctors Without Borders, as part of a partnership between the two organizations, the company announced.
“More than 800,000 people die each year from diseases caused by a lack of access to clean water. Clean water is a decisive element to prevent and handle the spread of diseases such as cholera and diphtheria, which we are combatting in conflict torn countries,” said Jesper Brix, director for Doctors Without Borders’ Danish office.
