DFI Announces New Chair of Women in Deep Foundations Committee
New Chair Has Over 13 Years of Geotechnical Experience
The Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) announced that Maysill Pascal, P.E., senior regional engineer/sales manager for USW, a Menard Group USA Company, is the new chair of the DFI Women in Deep Foundations Committee. She succeeds Helen Robinson, P.E., senior project manager, GEI Consultants. The Women in Deep Foundations Committee is a group of women and men who are advocates for retaining women in the deep foundations industry. The goal is to foster greater success and interest of professional women in the industry by promoting networking events, endorsing outreach and building mentoring relationships.
Prior to joining Menard in 2015, Pascal had over 13 years of geotechnical consulting experience on projects across the United States, as well as Canada, Australia and the Caribbean. She started her career working with Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers in the New York metropolitan area before moving to Haley and Aldrich in New Jersey and then to Golder Associates, where she worked in several offices including New Jersey, Atlanta, Melbourne (AUS) and Houston. Pascal is a licensed engineer in 10 states. She graduated from Manhattan College with a B.S. in civil engineering and from Virginia Tech with an M.S. in geotechnical engineering.
